Volunteers in several Bellefonte community organizations provide exciting events in each season to provide a celebration of our heritage and invite everyone to enjoy them.
- Historic Bellefonte Incorporated (HBI) is the umbrella group for a wide range of events each year. The proceeds benefit the organization's goal of preserving the architecture and culture of Bellefonte. The events HBI sponsors include: Daffodil Drive, Big Spring Festival, Children's Fair, Bellefonte Cruise and Car Show, Arts and Crafts Fair, Fall Festival, Halloween Parade, and Victorian Christmas. - Bellefonte Historical and Cultural Association provides Concerts in the Park, Sunday Afternoon Concerts at the Library, the arts and crafts show during Victorian Christmas, The Gallery at the Gamble Mill, and recently brought the Artie Shaw Orchestra to Bellefonte for a performance.
- The Bellefonte Chamber of Commerce holds a Croquet Tournament each summer with prizes for the winning teams. Proceeds benefit the Chamber.
- The Central PA Jazz Festival provides Sizzling Jazz in Downtown Bellefonte! Music throughout the Borough of Bellefonte starts on Friday July 23rd and continues ALL DAY on Saturday July 24, 2010, 11 AM to Midnight.
